Product Details
Our mother, Rachel is the only one of the forefathers and
mothers who is not entombed in the Cave of Machpela.
Instead, she was laid to rest “along the way,” so that she
could console her descendants and weep for them as they
were led into captivity and exile. In this painting, the Shofar
is blown to announce the final redemption in this very
same place, as Rachel prepares to welcome her children
upon their return to their ancestral homeland.
